Two sellers on Snapdeal platform have dragged the startup and its founders to court for non-payment of dues. The sellers have filed criminal cases in two courts of Delhi-NCR region to help them recover the dues and unsold/returned goods.
One of the sellers is fighting for recovery of INR 5 cr in non-payments and INR 15 Cr worth of unsold and returned goods. This comes at a time when one year after the failure of merger talks with Flipkart, Snapdeal chose a path to become self-sustainable. The founders claim that their strategy is working and aim to profitable in next two years.
