New York Stock Exchange Appoints First Female Head in 200 Year History

In a first for NYSE, Stacey Cunningham will become the first woman to lead America’s best run stock exchange- NYSE. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the Stock Exchange.

This is a historic event in the 200+ years of history of the NYSE. Also, with this elevation both NYSE and technology-focused NASDAQ will be led by women.

She started her career at JJC and later as a part of the Bank of America Securities and held senior positions at Nasdaq before taking up roles at the NYSE.
